When you sign a lease with Ocean Oaks, you are given the option of an early lease termination. Each resident can choose to either pay a termination fee and provide a 60 day notice to vacate or to vacate early and continue paying rent on the apartment until such time it re-rents. Residents can also complete an assignment of the lease, which allows the resident to find a qualified renter to assume the remainder of the lease agreement. Once the assignee is found, both parties will work with the leasing team to complete the paperwork to turn over the lease to a new renter.
